Furness Creatives aims to engage with the Barrow community in their creative pursuits. To establish community art space with a relaxed and friendly working group of mixed ability artists to encourage the study, practice, and development of the arts. With creative’s working on a basis of mutual self-help, with special emphasis given to the encouragement of beginners by the more experienced members.
Activities include Arts & Crafts: drawing, painting, rubber stamping, knitting, crochet, textiles, block printing, lino printing, etching printing, Silk Screen printing, card making, colouring in, Art Therapy, sculpture, digital art, model making, batik, felting. Basically any type of art or craft which is open to the imagination of attendees.
Refreshments provided to those who attend our workshops.
