Dalton United Juniors Football Club (DUJC) provides positive impact on the lives of our community on improving the physical and mental wellbeing of the young people, adults and the most vulnerable in the heart of our community, through the medium of Football and healthy lifestyles.
Young people being active and healthy and having fun with with playing football, is absolutely essential to help develop confidence, wellbeing and social skills.
There is a recongised route and opportunity to play football for the first team, or support young people to develop their skills and development in supporting the club and community.
The club is as much of the community as the community is as of the club, tackling social isolation, inactivity, mental health issues and anti social behaviour. Working with and supporting other organisations in the community, it provides opportunities in order to address disadvantages in our area through sport and supporting sports events.
DUJC provide mixed and girls football from U6 to U18 with a direct link int the main football club. The club also provides opportunities for its players and volunteers of all ages to support the club through and gain personal development via the FA courses which range from being a player through to committee members.
