10:00am - 2:00pm. Beyond The Label is an awareness events that aims to inform, support, and dispel misconceptions around mental health. This inaugural event will be on Severe Mental Illness (SMI).
SMI refers to specific mental health conditions including Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and/or Psychosis.
This event is being run as part of Mind In Furness' service which supports people with SMI to access free health checks and other ongoing community support.
Explore the Community Showcase to see and chat with various charitable and statutory services about the support they provide to local people with SMI.

Free blood pressure checks will be available through the NHS Social Prescribers team throughout the day.
