As BarrowFull celebrates Mexico’s most beloved day, El Dia de los Muertos, storyteller Mike Payton brings a series of delightful and thought-provoking Mexican tales for all the family.
Why so many flowers?
Who is La Catrina?
What happens to the forgotten dead?
Whilst there is a seriousness to the some of the tales, Mike loves to bring a touch of silliness to his storytelling. Come and join him and see where the stories take us, along with lots of other Mexican creative fun!
Mike Payton is a storyteller who specialises in Mexican myths, legends and folk tales. He has performed in over 250 schools as well as telling stories for The British Museum, The Wellcome Trust, The National Forest and many festivals around the country.
“Mike’s passion, enthusiasm and talent kept audiences mesmerised while making it an unforgettable experience for everybody.”
