Advantage! Barrow Raiders Community Foundation, a registered charity, is the community arm of Barrow Raiders RLFC. It is designed to support people who suffer disadvantage in some way, within the heart of Barrow.

Thanks to the initial and sustained support from BAE Systems, Cumbria Community Foundation and Sir John Fisher Foundation, plus many more partners who are now supporting them, they are able to deliver a programme of sport and wellbeing activities to over 1,000 people per week, from age groups nursery to ninety.

Advantage! is now a sustained but still developing programme with its initial focus and immediate dynamic impact being to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of the young people and adults, and vulnerable adults, in the heart of Barrow, through the medium of rugby league and healthy lifestyle initiatives.

Their aim is to continue working in collaboration with other groups and organisations in Barrow and the Furness area, in order to make sustainable positive impact on the lives of the community.
