Barrow Domestic Appliances are a locally based Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Any profits are put directly back into the company for the benefit of customers and service users.

They seek to re-use electrical appliances for the benefit of the local community. This is achieved by receiving donated goods that people no longer have a need for. For example, they may have bought a new appliance and need to dispose of the old one. These are taken away at no cost to the donor.

These goods are then made available to local people at low prices, with further discounts for those on a range of benefits. All goods are supplied with a warranty of 6 months.

They work with a variety of organisations to reach those most in need, including: Children and Adults Services, Womens Matters, Spring Mount Church, Disability Associations, Victims Support, Cumbria Community Homes etc.

They offer a free collection service for your old washing machine, tumble dryer, fridges and freezers and more.
