Drop Zone Youth Projects (DZYP) is a dynamic youth organisation based in Furness, dedicated to raising the aspirations and achievements of young people aged 7 to 21 (up to 24 for those who are vulnerable). Since its inception in 2004, DZYP has been committed to providing safe, inclusive, and supportive environments where young individuals can develop, have fun and socialise positively.

DZYP offers a wide range of programmes tailored to meet the diverse needs of young people in the community. These include targeted youth work, LGBTQ+ support, knife crime education, holiday provision and outreach services. The organisation also runs the TPS Learning Zone, an alternative education programme designed to re-engage young people with learning in a supportive setting.

Community engagement is at the heart of DZYP's mission. The organisation actively collaborates with local initiatives such as Furness Pride and has been recognised for its contributions, winning the Diversity Event award at the Cumbria Diversity Awards for Furness Pride 2022.

With a dedicated team of experienced youth workers, trustees and volunteers, DZYP continues to make a significant impact in the lives of young people across Furness. By focusing on empowerment, education and community involvement, the organisation strives to build a better future for the youth it serves.
