A group that works with our community to make Ormsgill a better place to live and be. They have strong connections with residents; understanding how best to reach out to them and help improve health and wellbeing for all ages. They hold regular varied activities, have a community fridge and community garden, and provide free seasonal parties and events – so nobody needs to go without.
Communities will have access to a share of surplus food, which will help with increasing costs of living, and improve people's health and wellbeing. The community fridge gives people opportunities to contribute through volunteering, learning new skills, or sharing their skills.
They also offer community coffee mornings and a winter warm hub to support people and encourage people to socialise; helping to reduce loneliness and improve community cohesion.
