There are occasional events across Cumbria and beyond to support communities to celebrate the seasons, connect with the environment, themselves and each other.
In 2024 Playful Nature was registered as a Community Interest Company to develop capacity to meet the needs of the Cumbrian community.
In 2026, the 'Listening to the Land' project offers an exciting opportunity to explore how tuning into nature can inspire creativity, and support wellbeing. This project is aimed at adults (18+) living in Furness and South Lakes. You can find out more on the Playful Nature website, and details of monthly events are in our Special Events section.
