SAFA is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of individuals in Cumbria who self harm and to those who support them. Our primary goal is to empower individuals to take responsibility for their own lives and we do this through non-judgmental counselling and trusting support.

SAFA is passionate about delivering the highest professional standard of services to its clients within the local community.

SAFA has an experienced counselling team, with a wealth of qualifications and expertise. They are proud members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
They deliver accredited training programmes (ABC Awards through the Skills & Education Group) and support the community in raising public awareness of self harm and eating disorders.
They work in partnership with Morecambe Bay CCG.
